Review by Tony Cannella

U.N.S.I.N. is an eclectic modern metal band hailing from Greece. On their debut EP “0154” the band displays their aggressive, melodic metal style with hugely positive results. The bombastic opener “Up” sets things in motion, this song features a heavy and thoroughly pounding riff that dominates the song. “Unseen” is next and continues in the same heavy direction as the previous number. Vocalist Christine Nikolaidou has got an excellent voice that just totally took me by surprise. Her singing style is clean and it just soars right there with the music. The final two tracks “Acid” and “The Show” brings this EP to a close and I was left wanting more. U.N.S.I.N. is a band that really came out of nowhere and floored me. Of course it is a shame that “0154” features only 4-songs and about 17-minutes worth of music but it has really made me hungry for when this band releases a full-length. If U.N.S.I.N. are able to find the right label to support them on their impending full-length, then there should be no stopping them.

Rating – 93/100
