Review by Alysha Hayden

American heavy metal band Christian Mistress is back with their third album “To Your Death”, featuring a clever cover art which appears to depict an angel falling. This cult band has released some killer albums to date and this one is no exception. From the very first track, “Neon” they let loose with a melodic metal sound that is impossible to sit still to. “Stronger Than Blood” keeps the momentum racing forward into “No Place” which is a personal favorite of mine. A core metal track that is brilliant for head banging a long week away. “Open Road” can be listened to for free on YouTube and is a worthy taster for the album. “Ultimate Freedom” slows things down a touch before the album ends with a classic American heavy metal sound in “III”. Coming in at just over 3 ½ minutes, “III” has no lyrics but that does not take away from the unadulterated epicness of the track. This album is a great addition to American metal and a necessary buy for hard core fans of the genre.

Review – 80/100
