Review by Miss Peaches

Imperia are an atmospheric metal band who carry a variety of elements creating the perfect enchanting feel which is very strong throughout the entire album “Tears of Silence”. The vocals of Helena Iren Michaelsen are particularly on point from start to finish of this album, showing off the variety of tones we all love her for. The album tells a strong tale of someone who has been through hell and back to show just how strong we can become when faced with trials we did not know would arise. The album eases in with the beautiful piano lead song “Silence Is My Friend” which alone shows you the power this band can project through a single song, gives me shivers! I feel a connection with this song from the get go as many of us have been through a lot in which this song seems to provide the right connection with through its power and strength. Within the first track this shows how strong this album will be, the power of an ox some would say which leads me onto my personal favorite the heartbreaking-ly beautiful final track of the album “Broken Hearts”. This song has so much emotion, delicate tone and purity it speaks to the soul in many ways.  Anyway enough of me reviewing… It’s time for you to let me know what you think of this rather fantastic album.

Rating – 90/100
