Review by Tony Cannella

Luca Turilli’’s Rhapsody is cinematic metal personified. The band has made a career out of writing and recording music that sounds like it would be as much at home on the big screen as it would on a CD. Luca Turilli and company return with a three-disc set that is sure to be a beautiful early Christmas present for fans of the band old and new. The first disc is an all new mix of their previous studio album, “”Prometheus, Symphonia Ignis Divinus””. The new Dolby Atmos mix gives it an extra Cinematic feel. Now, on to the live stuff. The 27-song (!) set-list features a great cross-section of Rhapsody tunes old and new. At over 2-hours you are definitely getting your money’’s worth and then some. As always Luca Turilli has surrounded himself with some of the most elite musicians in the metal world. The band is surely comfortable in a live setting and it shows. In the end, this is an unbelievable package for fans of Luca Turilli’’s Rhapsody. With “”Prometheus: The Dolby Atmos Experience & Cinematic And Live”” Christmas has come early.

Rating – 88/100
