Due to problems related to the current situation, the release-date of Ataraxia’s new album QUASAR in its physical formats is postponed for a while. We are waiting for the record label to update us. You’ll be promptly informed. In this peculiar moment for everybody, if you wish to support “the free voice” of musicians and indie music, that’s food for the soul, buy their albums or support them in the way you feel.

Music is not a property of musicians, it’s a gift for all those who have sensitivity to welcome it. Music is a plant that’s cultivated with heart and will both by the creators and the listeners. In the coming days we’ll post “RADIANCE”, the single of the album.

ATARAXIA and AnnapurnA Production are very glad to announce their collaboration for the album QUASAR out in three different editions: 1) de-luxe hard cover digibook (including a 24 pages booklet + bonus track limited to 400 copies), 2) vinyl 3) digipack 4) digital format.

QUASAR ( 7 tracks, 55 minutes ; limited digibook edition 8 tracks, 60 minutes -) is a journey into the horizon of events, the beating heart of every galaxy. We surf across different dimensions of space-time channeling sound and color frequencies, our eyes light up and music flows. We worked on 7 archetypes, the number of Grace and realization, one for each song. We played hymns to the 5 elements from the most dense to the subtlest. In Tolkien’s Silmarillion, we see many deities, similar to archangelic archetypes, who create the earth by singing it.

Vibration creates. Music turns into a game of numbers belonging to dimensions where mysteries happen, dreams breathe, multi-layered realities manifest. What do the stars do? What do the numbers say? QUASAR is the hero’s journey to reach the pure state of the essence, the Holy Grail, a balance between magical power and psychophysical fullness.
