Blutengel takes listeners on a journey into the depths of the mind in a new music video for the song “Ohne Wiederkehr.” The track is taken from the new album “Un:Sterblich – Our Souls Will Never Die” and premieres today at 6 pm CET on YouTube. Check out “Ohne Wiederkehr” here
“This song is one of the saddest songs on the album, in my view. It’s about loss and the fear of it. Yet at the same time, you find yourself asking if there might be hope out there somewhere”, reveals Chris Pohl. “Musically, the song starts very nicely and in harmony and then escalates into a sick, noisy number infused with distorted sounds and vocals you probably wouldn’t have expected. The video underscores these thoughts especially strongly with the “lone dancer falling and getting back up…”
In addition, more concert dates in Germany have been announced for the Blutengel Tour 2023. After successful shows for the album release and the big open-air anniversary show, Blutengel fans can now look forward to five more “Un:Sterblich – Our Souls Will Never Die” shows in November.
