The most recent signing to the Black Sunset/MDD roster is german veterans Final Cry.
Founded in 1989, the band managed to reinvent themselves again and again over the years, without losing sight of their roots. Still deeply rooted in thrash metal, more Scandinavian-like melodic guitar parts found their way into the band’s sound with the 2007 output “Neptune’s Relief” at the latest. The successor to their 2018 album “Zombique” is now scheduled to be recorded at the end of this year.
According to the first pre-listenings, you can get ready for a real neckbreaker. Sawing guitars and a great sense for almost atmospheric hymn-like melodies should inspire both old and newer fans of the Lower Saxons. The preparatory work on their sixth longplayer could not be slowed down even by the unexpected departure of their previous singer at the beginning of the year, because a new man at the mic is already in sight. Stay tuned!
