KALANDRA: new video

KALANDRA reveal “With You (Unplugged)” together with a new video!

After releasing “Ensom (Unplugged)” on June 25th 2021, Norwegian Alternative Pop sensation KALANDRA release a second Unplugged version of a song taken from their debut album “The Line”!

Perhaps one of Kalandra’s most laid back tracks, and quite possibly their most optimistic yet, “With You” is a song about choosing to stand by one another when going through life’s hardships together.

How, despite feeling wanderlust and restlessness on the path you share, there is no one else you’d rather have by your side when journeying through life.

As the band tells it:

«The song was written around five years ago, and it was the last song we decided to include on our debut album, ‘The Line’ (2020). We used to call it “the car-commercial song”, as a way of ironically distancing us from its optimism.

For the longest time it didn’t have any title and we went through a process of changing the lyrics over and over again until Jogeir and Katrine finally settled on the sentence “my restless heart remains with you”, a restlessness both reflected in us and the song’s creation. The puzzle finally solved itself. »

This release features a re-arranged and re-recorded performance of the song and is accompanied by a live video, putting a face to the string section that makes the arrangement sound so beautiful.
