OVERSENSE start crowdfunding campaign for the upcoming release of their new Melodic Metal album

OVERSENSE is currently one of the most promising hopefuls the European Melodic Metal circus has to offer and belongs to one of the hottest acts of the last years, not only since a several weeks’ tour with Metal Queen Doro Pesch! Now the band around the charismatic frontman Danny Meyer, YouTube star guitarist Jasmin ‘Jassy J.’ Pabst, bass player Marco Volpert and drummer Patrick Lippert is in the middle of the release planning for their sophomore album and needs your support right now! The musicians successfully launched a crowdfunding campaign at Startnext last week in order to self-finance their album and the not inconsiderable costs for CD duplication, PR, marketing, music videos etc. in these tough times. The first fans have already grabbed some exclusive rewards, but don’t worry, almost everything is still available. Among the highlights of the crowdfunding campaign are full and unplugged shows, an exclusive festival package, a snare drum signed by the band, the backdrop of the common 2018 tour with Doro Pesch as well as music lessons with the individual band members and a brand new Ibanez GRG131DX-BKF signed by all. Furthermore, there are many more rewards such as a pre-listening session of the new album together with the band or snatch a place in a fan music video. OVERSENSE are happy about any support, because the Startnext campaign is a first ray of hope for the badly battered band, whose UK tour with the Italians of Secret Rule already had to be postponed twice due to the pandemic and who, like so many other musicians, also had to cancel many more gigs in the last few months and thus lost revenues. Therefore, support OVERSENSE now and get one or more of the exclusive and partly limited rewards of the crowdfunding campaign: www.startnext.com/en/oversense-album-release-2021

To cheer up their fans after the first cancellation of shows last summer OVERSENSE used the lockdown to refresh one song of their debut EP “Dreamcatcher” and released their single „White Wolf” (Quarantine Version) via Dr. Music Records. While the 2014 version was still about the game series “The Witcher”, the lyrics now deal with the current Netflix series of the same title. Recorded, mixed and mastered by frontman Danny Meyer in his Sunway Studios, the song unfolds a fresh power that successfully stands out from the original. The single is also accompanied by the highly entertaining lockdown music video, which shows how the young musicians have spent this tough time at home: https://youtu.be/SxiwHuzGVgU

OVERSENSE’s latest single „White Wolf”, which has cracked up the 112.000 plays mark at Spotify, is available at these download stores and streaming services: Amazon (DE) | Amazon (US) | SMStracks | Spotify | Apple Music & iTunes | Deezer | Tidal | YouTube Music

The story of OVERSENSE begins in 2012 when Danny Meyer and Patrick Lippert record their first songs together and make contact with Olaf Reitmeier from Gate Studio. In the following years, the EP “Dreamcatcher” was released, followed by the debut album “The Storyteller”, which has been released via Dr. Music Records in 2017, with which the former line-up gathered excellent international reviews. The following winter, Jassy J., whose YouTube channel JJ’s One Girl Band now has more than 231.000 fans around the world, is confirmed as a permanent band member. After the tour with Doro in winter 2018, the first preparations for the second album start, which Danny Meyer is producing together with Miro Rodenkirchen and Olaf Reitmeier from Gate Studio (Avantasia, Kamelot, Epica), who were also twisting the knobs on the debut album “The Storyteller”. OVERSENSE create a unique sound in the form of fat headbanger riffs, filigree solos and modern Melodic Metal anthems with the potential to make a huge impact on the international Metal scene. Live they have already proven it several times in front of large audiences.

The extraordinary Melodic Metal masterpiece “The Storyteller” is available at the following shops and streaming services: Amazon (DE) | Saturn | Media Markt | Thalia | JPC | WOM | Moluna | Grooves | CeDe | ExLibris | MetalMailorder.com | Amazon (US) | MVD | Amazon (UK) | Plastic Head | Amazon (FR) | Amazon (ES) | Amazon (IT) | Sound Pollution | TPL.se | Bengans | Ginza | CDON | CDmarket.dk | iMusic.dk | SuperShop.sk | Tower Records | Spotify | Apple Music & iTunes | Deezer | Tidal | YouTubeMusic
