SKARTHIA: new album
Skarthia‘s latest album, “Legacy,” is a culmination of a decade of writing and pre-production. The band poured their hearts and souls into the project, determined to achieve the sound they had envisioned. The recording process was challenging and required multiple attempts before the band decided to take on the task themselves. The final recording was completed in 2020, and the album was released digitally on November 21st, 2022.
The band faced many obstacles during the creation of “Legacy,” but through sheer determination and passion for the music, they were able to overcome them. The end result is an album brimming with sonic power and emotion.
The lyrics on “Legacy” delve into themes of pre-destination and the cyclical nature of life and human nature. The album cover, designed by the band, features 8 sections around a circle with a supernova at the center, each representing a song on the album. The cover art perfectly captures the intensity and emotion of the music within, and serves as a visual representation of the journey the band went through to create “Legacy.”
