The record label Melodic Passion Records releases the selftitled debut from the new metal sensation The Waymaker. A new band con-sisting of Christian Liljegren (Narnia, Audiovision, ex. Divinefire), Jani Stefanovic (Solution 45, Zhakiah, ex. Divinefire) and Katja Stefano-vic. Along with this, a lyric video for the focus track “Marching On” is released.

The new metal-trio The Waymaker – Jani Stefanovic, Katja Stefanovic & Christian Liljegren continues their exciting musical journey and the song Marching On shows their innovative metal where Jani, Katja and Christian found a winning concept with their melodic focused metal.
Christian Liljegren (Narnia, Audiovision) and Jani Stefanovic (Solution 45, Zhakiah, Miseration) played together in Divinefire and made 5 albums together, which achieved worldwide success. The third important player in the trio is Jani’s wife – Katja Stefanovic (solo artist, ex. Random Eyes).
The new band The Waymaker’s goal and vision is to take metal into the future and with this album singer Christian is looking ahead:
– I, together with Katja and Jani have worked hard with the songs on our debut album and we have got an exciting expression with our voices and the songs show that it is possible to develop metal in the future in the year 2020.
The self-titled album due to be released September 25, 2020, will have guest appearances by musicians like Narnia‘s CJ Grimmark (guitar) and Alfred Fridhagen (drums). The Waymaker’s album is produced and mixed by Jani Stefanovic, mastered by Multi Grammy, Gold & Platinum Award winning Thomas Plec Johansson at Panic Room Studios, Sweden (Soilwork, Nocturnal Rites, Gathering Of Kings, Divinefire, Narnia, Solution 45 and many more) and distributed by Sound Pollution.
