Priscila Da Costa, is the creative force behind this Ptolemea project. And for those less familiar with Ptolemea: Priscila has spent more than a decade shaping her artistic identity in Luxembourg’s creative landscape. With Kali, her second full length album and her debut on Raging Planet Records, she steps forward with her boldest work yet, one driven by personal vision, raw honesty, and an unmistakable sense of purpose.

(No) Negative Points on Kali
As for the music, I have been listening to this album (obviously) and let me start with negative points on the record, there simply aren’t any! To my ears, it is all positive. This is awesome atmospheric rock that flirts occasionally with metal, some tracks are sung in Priscila‘s native tongue and some in English.
Listen through headphones
Her voice is so haunting that it suits the music to a tee, and a word of advice, listen through headphones to get the full benefits of the atmospheric soundscapes! I have to say that this record is a lush yet musically dense landscape, carried by emotionally charged vocals and intricate arrangements that make the album both unique and compelling.
Indeed, Priscila is now setting her sights on reaching a much broader audience with a European tour planned for Spring 2026, and she will do it successfully I am sure. For anyone who is open-minded musically, this is well worth checking out.
